On 29 September, we welcomed Callum Parke from Rhubarb Music to guest-teach a class at the Vancouver School of Irish Music. It was a lovely opportunity to learn a new tune and find out more about the instruments we play!

Callum taught us the jig Rolling Wave, adding another tune to our repertoire. He also explained how a tin whistle is made, giving us a glimpse of the craft behind this little instrument and its distinctive sound.

A big thank you to Callum for sharing his music, knowledge and time with our students. We look forward to putting Rolling Wave into practice!
